Black Country Tourism

Black Country Tourism was established in October 1999 and is financed by a European Regional Development Fund Grant and funding from the Boroughs of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Black Country Tourism’s main objectives are to build on the strengths of the Black Country as a regional resource to attract and retain visitors. It is designed to facilitate joint working on a number of projects that will enhance the image of the area, generate new visits, and assist the work of existing enterprises in the tourism industry.

Black Country Conferences Black Country Tourism links directly to other marketing bids that have received European support including Black Country Conferences.

The Black Country offers organisers a wealth of venues, attractions and services to meet all your conference / event requirements. Black Country Conferences, established in May 2000 is a new Conference Bureau offering the following services:

Free Venue location service

Let us know the details of the event you’re organising and we’ll collate the information you require on the relevant venues and prepare a bid document, returning this to you within an agreed timescale.

Familiarisation Inspections

Come and see the facilities at specific venue sites on pre-arranged familiarisation visits.

Accommodation booking service

We’ll reserve all the rooms you need and handle individual delegate bookings.

Delegate information

Providing corporate entertainment, AV hire, social programmes, travel details, catering companies and partner tours.
