Venue Announced For Red Carpet Tourism Oscars
Tourism bosses in the Black Country have announced this year’s host venue for their prestigious hotel and tourism awards ceremony.
The glitzy ballroom at the Park Hall Hotel in Goldthorn Park, Wolverhampton will host the awards on Friday 11th April, when over 300 hotel and tourism staff from across the region will join forces to enjoy the Oscar style awards ceremony and gala dinner.
Winners from each of the 13 categories will be announced after industry experts have spent the last several weeks in the Black Country to judge the region’s hotels, visitor attractions, and their staff, to find the very best.
Winners will be announced by a celebrity host who will name the Black Country’s best
Large Hotel, Small Hotel, Large Visitor Attraction, Small Visitor Attraction, Outstanding Customer Service, Business Tourism of the Year, Hotel Receptionist, Housekeeper, Chef, Restaurant Service, Tomorrow’s Manager, Tourism Website of the Year, and Festival or Event of the Year.
The Black Country Hotel & Tourism Awards were launched three years ago by Black Country Tourism to celebrate the diversity and quality of the tourism product in the region and to help raise standards at a local level.
Several of the evening’s winners will automatically go forward to the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards with the opportunity to win on a regional or even national level.
Tickets for the evening are now on sale priced £35 for members and £40 for non members.
